Robert Eugene Mcdowell

Robert Eugene McDowell, 55, of Athens, TN passed away on February 22, 2016. He was born on October 28, 1960 to the late Boyd Eugene McDowell and Martha Dodson McDowell.
Robert was very artistic. He loved playing the guitar and drawing pictures. Robert also enjoyed going to the Athens Recreational Park and walking his beloved dog Wimpee.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Susan McDowell and nephew Ronnie Eugene McDowell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Aaron McDowell; mother Martha Dodson McDowell; brother Stanley McDowell (Jeanne); sister Nancy Hagans (Mike); and two grandchildren: Mackenzie McDowell and Logan McDowell. In addition to these, he leaves behind several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church located at 381 CO Road 775, Riceville, TN 37370 on Monday February 29, 2016 at 11:00am.
