Robert Allen Boone

August 15, 1960 — March 9, 2023

Robert Allen “BB” Boone, age 62, passed over to the beyond Thursday, March 9, 2023, after a long battle with recurring cancer. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, BB was raised in Compton, CA. He resided for many years in the Enterprise, Alabama area before settling in the South East, Tennessee and North Georgia regions surrounding Chattanooga.

He is preceded in death by Bertha Charlene Lewis (Mother), Jewel Givens (Grandmother), Douglas Meyers (Brother), Kathy Brown (Sister), Shirley Thompson (Aunt), Salvador Martinez (Nephew), and William Brown (Brother-in-law).

He is survived by Theresa Myers (Sister), Robert Jamison “RJ” Boone (Son), Maryanne Boone (Daughter), Jennifer Boone (Daughter), Jacinda Boyd (Daughter), Sherry Brown (Niece), Brandy Abel (Niece), Harley Brown (Nephew), and 11 great and grand-nieces and nephews. He is also survived and mourned by the family of Sabrina Abernathy; all of whom he loved very much and is forever connected to. Additionally, BB had a very large “extended family” of “Brothers, Sisters, Son’s, and Daughters” he loved dearly that will miss him terribly.

Mr. Boone was a welder by trade and he enjoyed his craft very much. He also worked in the automotive and construction industries for many years. BB was known for his automotive skills, and it was a hobby that could serve as a trade also to him. He enjoyed many activities and often complained he didn’t get to fish enough. His first love was riding motorcycles and socializing with other kindred, free spirits. He was very involved in the local biker community and rode over the years with several different organizations as a very active member. However, any adventure would do. His sister described him as the “wild child” when they were young, and that spirit never left him.

Over the years since the passing of his mother, Mr. Boone pondered and discussed his beliefs many hours and did pass as a believer in the Christian faith. A Celebration of Life is being tentatively planned for Saturday April 8. It will be preceded by a motorcycle escort ride for BB’s son, RJ, from Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland, TN departing (KSU) at 1pm.
