Ricky Lynn Barker

Ricky Lynn Barker, 57, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 3, 2019. He was born on June 10, 1961 to the late Paul and Polly Barker. Ricky was a lifelong resident of this area and he loved being outdoors. He enjoyed archery, fishing, boating, and riding motorcycles. Ricky was a fixer and a tremendous handyman. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Harold Barker and Larry Barker; two sisters: Carolyn Barker and Gail Barker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years; Wanda Barker, five children: Ethan Gates (Leona), Billy Barker (Tonya), Sondra Studdard, Danielle Gresham (Rickey), and Jennifer Lay (Brandon); siblings: Ronnie Barker (Vanessa) and Sharon Barker; grandchildren: Daisy Gates, Bethany Gates, Jada Barker, Jessica Studdard, Leeann Studdard, Lana Gresham, Payton Gresham, Paige Gresham, Hunter Dodson, Brayden Farris, and Rylynn Lay.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday January 7, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 8:00pm following the visitation.
