Ricky L. Caldwell

Ricky Lee Caldwell passed away in his beloved Old Fort home on December 6, 2016 at the age of 56, attended by his wife Barbara and his sister Doris. He had recently moved to TN from the San Francisco bay area to be closer to his family and his roots.

Ricky follows his eldest brother Benny Caldwell into the Beyond, and is survived by his wife, Barbara Hawes Caldwell, his son, Robert Lee Caldwell of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his sister Ruth, wife of Russel Middleton of Calhoun, GA, his sister Doris, wife of Keith Hines of Cleveland, TN and his brother Calvin, husband of Shirley Caldwell of Old Fort TN, as well as the families of his siblings and cousins, and his two dear kitties, Penelope and PurrCinnamon, who gave him great comfort and joy.

After serving his country in the Navy, Ricky chose a lifetime career of working in security and had recently retired.

Ricky demonstrated his free spirit in this lifetime; he loved to play and his motto for life was, “If it ain’t fun don’t do it, and if it is fun do it again.”

Ricky enjoyed being in nature and he loved his family. Recently he fulfilled his dream of many years by returning to live in the country and to be near his family again.

His family and friends will celebrate Ricky’s life at his home in Old Fort, TN on December 18th. Please contact a family member for the details.
