Ricky Alan Myers

Ricky Alan Myers, 61, most beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Rick loved fishing, jeep riding with friends and relaxing on the river. He worked as hard as he played having retired after 35 years from Eaton Corporation. What you saw is what you got with him and if you knew Rick, you knew he was easy going, generous and a fun loving human being. He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Gertrude Myers. Left behind to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 21 years, Doris Myers; loving children Kathy Loveless(Kyle) and Candace Evans(Robert); cherished grandchildren Kayla and Brooklyn Loveless, Ashlyn and Jack Evans; brother Tim Myers(Teresa); several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; special family and friends Perry Rogers, Tim Williams, Mark Walker and Steve Morrow and many other family and friends. In leiu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society: Hope Lodge in Nashville(2008 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN 37203) and Vanderbuilt University Medical Center, Cancer Research(1211 Medical Center Dr, Nashville, TN 37212). The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM with the celebration of life service to follow at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
