Rickey Dean Leamon

Rickey Dean Leamon, 71, of Riceville, Tennessee went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 21, 2022. Rickey was born on July 20, 1950, in Athens, Tennessee to the late Arlen and Elsie Leamon. He enjoyed Singing, and witnessing the love of Jesus, Mowing grass, Rabbit hunting, and Fishing.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Buchanan; and stepdaughter, Melissa Hershey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Ann Leamon; his children, Denean (Todd) Hill, and Rhonda (Von) Haynes; stepchildren, Jamey (Stacie) Franks, and Jon (Karen) Franks; his grandchildren, Madison (Casey) Chow, Cameryn Bartlett, Chipper Franks, Jake Franks, Kara Franks, Rylee Franks, Conner Hill, Colton Hill, and Caleb Hill; brothers, Roy Leamon, Dennis Leamon, and Billy (sandy) Leamon; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 6:00 pm at Solid Rock Baptist Church with pastor Scott Martin, and Pastor Caleb Leamon Officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00pm – 6:00pm prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Calhoun First Baptist Church Cemetery with Scott Leamon, Anthony Leamon, Brian Leamon, Sean Leamon, Tyson Leamon, Caleb Leamon, and Benjamin Rogers serving as pallbearers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are David Leamon, Charlie Leamon, Nathan Leamon, James Carr, Joe Carr, and Daryl Carr.
