Obituary

Richard Eugene Alford, 76, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away on Friday, May 15th, 2015 at his home. He was born in Marion, Indiana on June 23rd, 1938 a son of the late Leon and Mary Alford. Richard was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed driving his tractor, gardening and watching the races.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his special dog "Toby".

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Joy Alford, one son Richard Alford, three daughters Mary Johnson, Angela Anderson and Maschelle Grayson, one sister Shirley Zirkle, two step sons Klaus Schroeder and Lee Olmstead, two step daughters Jeannie Gilbert and Donna Brown, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A memorial service was held at the family home on Saturday, May 16th, 2015.
