Richard David Dillard

Richard David Dillard, 29, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, in a Augusta, GA hospital. David is now at peace, and the addiction he suffered for many years is over. He was born in Cleveland TN on September 30, 1993. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid guitar player and Tennessee Vols fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

David is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather David Caldwell, paternal grandfather Richard Dillard, two uncles Rick Dillard and Kenney Goodwin and stepmother Lisa Dillard.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Ronda Dillard, father Randy Dillard, three sisters Renee Dillard, Randi Michelle (Chase), Layla Dillard, Maternal grandmother Charlotte Goodwin, paternal grandmother Nancy Long (Ed), special bonus mom Susan Melton, several special nieces and nephews, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, May 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. A service celebrating his life will conclude the visitation time at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening with the Reverend Scotty Lyles officiating.
