Rebecca Louise Custer, 69, of Birchwood, Tennessee passed away April 1, 2023 at her Residence in Birchwood, Tennessee. She was born on August 29, 1953 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Taylor and Naomi (Scott) Hairel. She was of the christian faith and a loving soul. Rebecca was the absolute best Granny. She loved all of her children and grandchildren. With enough love to go around, she became a Granny to everyone. She was the backbone for her family and friends. She was funny and was the life of the party. She had a grat sense of hmor and loved to joke around. Always bringing a smile to every face. In her past time she was an avid scuba diver and loved to travel. She was a great and loving mother that will be missed.

Rebecca is survived by her daughters Tina Nicole O'Dell and Regina Michele Houston. Her siblings, Mary Talley, Larry Hairel, Emma Baker, Diane McIntosh and Virginia O'Steen. Her grandchildren Zane Jacob Oliver, Matthew Dane Oliver, Elizabeth Oliver, Cheyanne Desirae Hughes, Alexis Taylor Hughes, Brandon Lee Alexander Hughes and William Chase Hughes. Her great grand children, Zane Jacob Oliver Jr. (Z.J.), Hayden Matthew Oliver, Autumn Michele Oliver, Elijah James Oliver, Amelia Lee Ann Hughes, Gayle Lee Alexandria Hughes, Talon Lewis Wrape, and one great grandson on the way from Cheyanne Hughes, due in July.
