Raymond Michael Poteet

Raymond Michael Poteet went to be with the Lord March 20, 2023. A devoted husband, father and friend to so many. He loved his family and friends, his Game Fowl, and fine horses. He was a Bowater retiree of 30 years as a papermaker and then the maintenance department. He loved to tell stories on the people he knew and everybody loved to see him coming just to hear him.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Poteet and mother Martha Viola Pangle, half brother Fred Poteet, grandson Briar Morgan, and many aunts and uncles who helped raise him.

Survived by his wife Diane Gourley Tuck Poteet, Son Michael and wife Scarlet Poteet, daughter Jeana Poteet Morgan Savage and her child Dusty Savage, Son and daughter in law Keith and Siobhan Tuck, grandchildren Sky, Killian, Jacob, Jolene, Dakota and wife Lynsi Tuck their children Phoenix, Hendrix, and Finan. Son Brian and Tiffany Warne Tuck, daughter Madison. He has many very close cousins whom he loved dearly. They all meant the world to him. He will be missed by so many.

There will be no services at this time but will do a celebration of life at a later date. May you Rest in Peace Big Po.
