Raymond Gerald Leone

Raymond Gerald Leone ,79, of Summerville , Georgia passed away March 2, 2023 at home in Summerville , Georgia . He was born on December 29, 1943 in Buffalo , New York to Raymond and Coral (Blanchard ) Leone. He loved sports and played both football and baseball while in high school at Lakeshore Central High School in Angola, New York. He attended college at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his Bachelor of Science on January 28, 1968. Mr. Leone taught special needs children. He retired from Federal Express in 2010. He has been a member of the Summerville community since 2010. He was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

His parents Raymond Edward Leone and Coral (Blanchard) Leone. His sister Marsha Leone Faracci.

He is survived by:

His wife Nelda (Beam) Leone, sons Marc and Brian Leone both of the Atlanta area, his granddaughter Zoe and grandson Dominic. Stepdaughters Angela (David) Stone, Jimmie (Sonny) Lematty, stepson Jeremy Meredith. Also surviving are step-grandchildren Megan, Nathan, Craig, Phillip, Bryce, Makya, Isiah, and Mary. Also step-great-granddaughter Alice.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 2-4 pm in the fellowship hall at Trion First Baptist Church 95 Church Street Trion, GA 30753.
