Ralph Eugene Blankenship

Ralph Eugene Blankenship, 84, a resident of Cleveland TN, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. He served our country in the Army during the Korean War, loved fishing and worked in the automotive industry for 40 years. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Perman and Agnes Husky.
Survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia Blankenship; daughters, Vicki Burns, Sharon (Johnny) Chapman; grandchildren, Ashley (Adam) Foust, Keyana Burns, Ryan Chapman, Ciera Chapman; great grandchildren, Kayden and Hailee Foust.
There will be a visitation from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday March 15, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm with Rev. Guinn Greene officiating. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday March 16, 2018 at 11:00am.
