Phyllis Maxine Lee, 82, passed away on October 25, 2016. She was born on May 29, 1934, to the late J.T. and Virginia Dooley and lived most of her life in Cleveland, Tennessee. Maxine was of Catholic faith and was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She had a witty sense of humor and was an incredible cook. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her four grandchildren and her great granddaughter.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of sixty four years, Robert “Bob” Lee of Knoxville, TN; children David Lee (Jean) of Pella, IA and Jeanne Bowers (David) of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren Jennifer Salvoch (Manny) of Denver, CO, Aleshia Reed (Jacob) of Knoxville, TN, Patrick Lee (Rachel Turl) of Murfreesboro, TN and Drew Silcox (Allison Whitaker) of Knoxville, TN; great grandchild Raylee Elizabeth Reed of Knoxville, TN; sister Glenda Henry (Neal) of McDonald, TN and brother Tom Dooley of Knoxville, TN; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends and family at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am with a mass to follow at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
