Peyton Barringer

June 17, 2004 — November 8, 2022

Peyton Barringer was a bright, kind-hearted, witty young man who left us before we were ready. He was born on June 17, 2004, in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and passed on November 8, 2022. Peyton was a gentle soul, kind and thoughtful to EVERYONE he met during his 18 years.

Peyton was an honor roll student in his senior year at Calhoun High School and a member of FCCLA. Although he struggled with mental illness, he was funny and had a great (albeit dry) sense of humor. He loved family game time, going to the movies, his pets, all animals, and most recently, cooking. His favorite past times were playing video games and collecting Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards. He had a natural talent for anything technology-related. The loss of Peyton leaves a huge hole in our hearts, but we know he is no longer in pain.

Peyton is survived by his mother, Tiffany Barringer; father, Shawn and bonus mom, Sara Jones; sister, Tayler Stanley; grandparents, Dan (Bonnie) Jones, Diane Wagner, Tim (Sue) Childs; great-grandfather Lenwood Jones; great aunts and uncles, Mike (Jan) Jones, Lynn Jones (Sue Carter), Gary (Pam) Campbell; aunts and uncles, Erin (Annie) Fisk and Dustin (Anna) Lentzer, Stacy Nelson, Rachel Lynn, Mandy Wagner, Nick Wagner, and MIssi VanNess, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Peyton was preceded in death by his uncle, Jimmy Jones; grandmother, Emma Jean Jones; great-grandparents Norma and Jack Hunt; great-aunts and uncles Don and Debbie Campbell, Shirley and Grady Lee, and Barb Kaufmann.
