Peggy Ann McLain Neyman, 68, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 26, 2015. She was born on January 24, 1947 to Barbara Ann Roberson McLain and the late Billy Franklin McLain and. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a lifetime member of Prospect United Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Peggy was an avid reader and loved playing cards.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband John Madison Neyman; grandparents: Earl McLain and Lucy Hysinger McLain, Walter Roberson and Annie Marie Hughes Roberson; step-grandmother Minnie Meece Roberson; uncle Gail McLain; two aunts Willa Roberson Bridger and Sue Roberson Wolfe; great uncles: John Hysinger, Carlos Roberson, Mark Roberson, and George Roberson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Gretchen Ruvo (Robert); mother Barbara Ann Roberson McLain; grandson Sonny Ruvo; brother Tommy McLain (Anita); nephew Jason McLain (Michelle); great nephews: Jacob McLain and Hunter McLain; cousins: Ann Hysinger Gray, Cindy McLain Roberts, Jan McLain McSpadden, Renee Bridger Marshburn, Robin Bridger Winslow, Rhonda Bridger Powell; aunt Peggy Jean McLain. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday August 27, 2015 at Prospect United Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Murraytown Road in Cleveland, TN with Theresa Martin and Marshall Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at 12:00pm on Friday August 28, 2015 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Jason McLain, Jacob McLain, Hunter McLain, Rob Ruvo, Jamsie Neyman, and Bill Gray will serve as pallbearers. Lindsay Hathcock will serve as honorary pallbearer.
