Pauline Johnson

Pauline Johnson, 97, of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 13, 2019. She was born on June 7, 1921 to the late Wheeler and Viola Clark. Pauline was a lifelong resident of this area but moved to Marietta seven years ago to spend time with her daughter, Sherry. She loved to sew but her greatest joy was being a mother and spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband H.L. Johnson; brother William E. Clark and sister Jackie Murchison.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Sherry Day (Otis) of Marietta; granddaughter Leslie Smith Kinkead (Barry) of Woodstock, GA; great grandson Luke Brooks of Marietta. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday April 20, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Big Springs Baptist Church in Pauline’s memory. The address is 1415 Hardwick Street SE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
