Patricia Koltun Pritchard

September 23, 1939 — October 9, 2021

Patricia K. Pritchard, or “Patsy” as she was known to all, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on September 23, 1939 in to the late Beatrice and Solon Kolton. She married Wesley Westmoreland Pritchard, “Wes”, in January of 1962 who preceded her in death in 2011.
She moved with her family to Cleveland, Tennessee when she was a teenager. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in teaching. She taught school in Atlanta, Georgia briefly before marrying Wes. They had one child together.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She also found time for playing bridge, spending time with her friends, and loved traveling to warm locations.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pritchard Pendergrass and husband, James Stanton Pendergrass of Greenville, South Carolina; her grandson, James Westmoreland Pendergrass of Duncan, South Carolina; her granddaughter, Abby Corinne Pendergrass of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; and her sister Karen K. Lawrence and husband Edward Lawrence of Marietta, Georgia.
A Graveside service will be held for Patsy, Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7180 North Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN 37312 with Father Joel Huffstetler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
