Patricia Ann Poteet

Patricia Ann Poteet, 70, of McDonald, TN passed away on April 9, 2016. She was born on June 30, 1945 to the late Willis Elijah and Mary Ann Vaughn. Pat was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Battlefield Ministries in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. She loved being outdoors and spending her weekends shopping at yard sales.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Roger Lloyd Poteet and son Roger Darren Poteet.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons Nathan Poteet (Heather) and Keith Poteet (Johnna); daughter Penny Ledford (Scott); brothers: Darrell Vaughn (Tonjia), Freddie Vaughn (Kitty), and Eddie Vaughn (Sandy); sister Karen Gibbson (Kenneth); grandchildren: Adam Ledford, Chase Ledford, Katie Hill, Ashely Poteet, Brooke Poteet, Courtney Poteet, Blake Poteet, Kari Michaelon, Abbigail Poteet, and Alivia Poteet. In addition to these she leaves behind eight great grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the 11:00am Sunday Service on Sunday April 17, 2016 at Battlefield Ministries Community Church located at 64 Third Street, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742.
