Listed below is an email that Ms. Paulette Jones, the director of the museum and historical society, sent out after Ms. Pat’s passing.
“It is with much sadness that I report the death of our dear Historical Society member and special friend Pat Hendrix.
Pat passed away last evening. She was an asset to our Society and did most of the research for the many inquiries we received. She never charged for her time and just asked that people make a donation to the Historical Society. Many years these donations sustained us. She never missed a meeting and was always so sweet and thoughtful to each of us. Our prayers and thoughts go to her husband Byron and granddaughter Laynee and the rest of the family.
Pat and Byron had visited my home yesterday afternoon while out roaming around her beloved Meigs County, which she was so devoted to.

I and the rest will miss her greatly.

Paulette”
