Pastor Raymond "Ray" Kelch

Obituary
Pastor Raymond Ray Kelch, 69, a resident a Chattanooga, Tennessee went to sleep in the Lord on Wednesday March 11, 2015. He loved being a pastor. His church members, his ministry, his wife, children and grandchildren were the greatest joys of his life. Rays hobbies were reading, model trains & cars, storytelling, and woodworking projects. Ray never met a stranger and always had a joke to share.

Ray is preceded in death by his father, Raymond W. Kelch and his mother, Eunice Milam Christensen.

"Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Marian Kelch and their children Ray & Rita Kelch, Michelle & Carl Waldron, Robert & Marcy Kelch and Randy & Kalie Kelch as well as their eight grandchildren, Jenny, Katelyn, Marae, Ryan, Nate, Harper, Scarlett, Elise and two great-grandchildren Melody and Kole. In addition he is survived by his loving sisters Diane Watson, Valorie Young, Joyce Mitchell and their extended families.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday March 16 between 5:30-8:00pm at the Ooltewah Seventh-Day Adventist Church located at 9209 Amos Road, Ooltewah, TN.

A celebration of Ray's life is planned for 2:00 PM, Tuesday March 17, 2015 at the Ooltewah Seventh-Day Adventist Church with interment immediately following at Collegedale Memorial Park located 5935 College Drive, Collegedale TN.
