Pally Jo Clark

November 9, 1939 — February 2, 2022

Pally Clark passed away on February 2, 2022. She was born in Monroe, GA, where she attended elementary through high school and lived until she and her first husband, George moved in 1968. The family moved to Ringgold, GA, and she continued to live in that area

Pally’s family was the most important thing in her life. We are so thankful that she lived to enjoy Jonathan and Jack, and she was able to meet and hold her third precious great grandson, Matthew.

Pally was a very hard worker, a very talented and gifted seamstress. She worked for many years at Oxford Manufacturing and Red Fox Manufacturing in Monroe, GA. After moving to Ringgold she worked at Edgewood Chenille and Mohawk Carpet. She worked for Catoosa County School Systems for approximately 20 years until she retired. During those years she sewed for family and friends. She made elaborate Elvis costumes for Elvis impersonators, including the rhinestone capes! Several brides in that area wore gowns that she made or did detailed alterations on. She also did sewing for pleasure. She made beautiful clothes for her daughters and her niece, wedding veils, covers for bassinets, and Halloween costumes. The one thing that brought her so much joy was doing alterations for Shannon and his buddies’ Navy uniforms.

Pally also loved traveling to Cherokee, Helen, Jacksonville, and Daytona Beach with her sister, Mart (Margaret) before Margaret passed away in 2010. They would call home, both of them in a phone booth, giggling like two little school girls.

Pally Jo, you are loved by so many, and you will be missed.

Pally will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
