Opal Irene Mcneal

Opal Irene McNeal was born in Piedmont, Alabama to Edward and Jewel Schaeffer on September 3, 1929. Opal passed away in a local nursing home peacefully during the night on Sunday, April 30, 2023. She is survived by her son George McNeal III and his wife Donna, daughter Eva Kinsey and her husband David, and granddaughters Brandi, Misty, Mandy, and Dana.

During her years of service as one of Jehovah’s Witneses, Opal loved the ministry work, especially auxiliary pioneering on a regular bases for the past years. In her spare time, Opal enjoyed crocheting.

Opal will truly be missed by family and friends and we look forward to the day when we will see her again in Paradise. There will

be a memorial service held on Saturday May 6, 2023 at 4 PM at the local Kingdom Hall.
