Norma Jean Strickland

Norma Jean Strickland, 76, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. Norma was born on February 1, 1947, in Birchwood, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Irene Cranfield. She was a lifelong member of the Grasshopper Road Church of God where she served as a clerk.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Cranfield, and Larry Cranfield; and her infant sisters, Helen Cranfield, and Joyce Cranfield.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Amanda Strickland (Alan Garrett); her brother, Cecil Cranfield; sister, Shirley Hicks; and her grandchildren, Sarah Hicks, Connor Garrett, and Emily Garrett; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Grasshopper Road Church of God with Pastor Jim Gann officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow in the Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
