Nelda Kaye Stanfiel

Nelda “Kaye” Bush Stanfiel, age 81 of Harrison, passed away Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 13, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Sam and Ida Bush. She was a 1958 graduate of Tyner High School and a lifelong member of Bartlebaugh Baptist Church where she served as organist for over 30 years. She was a sweet, funny and caring person who loved life, her family and most of all her Lord.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathryn Stanfiel Brown; grandson, who was the light of her life, Ryan Brown; son in law, Pete Brown; sister, Alice Denham; brother, Bill Bush; nieces, Debbie Rhoden, Janice Wells, and Melody Smith; nephews, Ron Bush, Gary Bush, Greg Bush, Monte Denham, and Eddie Denham as well as several great-nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church located at 6129 Champion Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416, with Pastors Don Ferguson and Marvin Kirkpatrick officiating.
