Muoi Loi

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Muoi Loi, loving mother of two children, Van Nguyen and James Loi, passed away at age 65. Muoi was born on April 29, 1957, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Later in life she had a daughter and decided to migrate over to the United States of America to forge a better life for her and her family. Years after her migration over to America she had her first son, James. Since then, she made it her duty to be a provider, a mother. With her family in mind, she pursued work in the carpet mill industry and had worked in that field for over a decade. Muoi always had a passion for cooking and would stop at nothing to make her family and friends a comforting meal. It always brought joy to her to bring people together through food. She loved to have a meal and a meaningful conversation with the ones she loved the most. Muoi could tell you a thousand stories of her experiences and still have a thousand more waiting to be heard. Muoi was fierce, strong-willed, funny, and kindhearted. For those reasons she was greatly admired by not only her children but the friends, she made along her journey as well. Muoi is survived by her mother and two children, Van Nguyen and James Loi.
