Milton Loyal Nicholson

Milton Loyal Nicholson, 83, of Cohutta, GA passed away on March 26, 2023. He was born on November 11, 1939 to the late Milas and Daisy Nicholson. Milton loved the outdoors and being outside. He enjoyed spending time in Tellico Plains and anywhere he could get away into the mountains. Milton also loved antique cars and was fascinated with quality architecture and masonry work. He was a very hard working man and loved spending time with his family. Milton was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters and infant son Daniel Nicholson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory three children: Sherry (Luke) Wilson; Karen Fitzke; Tim (Sara) Nicholson; five grandchildren: Stephanie Wilson, Ilona Fitzke, Saul Fitzke, Pare Nicholson, and Andrew Nicholson; one great grandchild Ava Fitzke.

Milton’s family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm on Saturday April 1, 2023 at Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2pm. He will be laid to rest following his service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Cohutta.
