Michael And Donna Paschke

Donna Fay Branam Paschke, 60, of Cleveland gained her heavenly wings on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her residence.

She was born to the late Bonnie Ruth Ratcliff Branam and Julius Lafayette Branam of Cleveland. She was reared by her late grandparents, Mary and Millard Ratcliff, also of Cleveland.

She worked at Jackson’s Manufacturing for most of her adulthood. There, she took pride in her work and developed and maintained many friendships—she was adored by all that knew her.

She celebrated her life and her family. She was a mother to many and enjoyed spending time on her family farm with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Kathy Ann Branam and Barbara Lee Scarpitti, whom she loved without fail.

She was married to Michael Patrick Paschke, whose obituary is set forth herein, for thirty six years. Together they reared their devoted daughter and friend, Jessica Ruth Paschke, who is presently engaged to Robert Lynn Camp Jr. Additionally, Donna is survived by her step-sons, James Aaron Paschke, his wife Laura, and their daughter Sarah Grace, all presently of Knoxville and Eric Daniel Paschke of Cleveland. Her two sisters, Brenda Kay Bishop and Priscilla Elaine Goodwin (husband Mike) survive her along with her two special nieces Destiny Ruthann and Autumn Paige Patterson. Additionally, she leaves behind many other cousins, nephews, and nieces to cherish her memory.

Michael Patrick Paschke, 63, of Cleveland, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

Mike was born to Fredrick Patrick Paschke and Betty Jo Rayfield in Chicago, Illinois. Later, along with Betty, he was reared and much loved by his step-father Steve Kanavos.

He spent most of his life working, chiefly, hanging sheet-rock throughout the Cleveland area and, in so doing, he employed many family and friends. Simply put, he was one the hardest working men Cleveland ever produced.

Aside from work, he was committed completely to his family. He was married for thirty six years to Donna Fay Branam Paschke, whose obituary is included herein, until she died this past Monday, October 25, 2021. She was his devoted friend, companion and nurse. Moreover, she was the light of his life. Together they reared their daughter, Jessica Ruth Paschke, presently engaged to Robert Lynn Camp Jr., and Mike’s two sons by his previous marriage: James Aaron Paschke, married to Laura, and their daughter Sarah Grace, all presently of Knoxville and Eric Daniel Paschke of Cleveland. He loved and adored two special nieces, Destiny Ruthann and Autumn “Mighty Moe” Paige Patterson.

In addition to his parents and step-father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents N.W. “Dub” and Deyette Rayfield, his sister Rhonda Dee Paschke, his uncle James Paul Rayfield and his aunt Juanita Ruth Rayfield.

He is survived by his three siblings, Gregory Scott Kanavos (Tracy), Katerina Deeanna Kanavos and Kim Kanavos-Hawkins, all of Cleveland, and many other nieces and nephews. Also surviving him are the architects of his life, his uncles Howard Rayfield, Jimmy Rayfield, David Rayfield and Donnie Rayfield. His lifelong friends Candy Geraci and Marjorie Olson also mourn his passing.
