Michael R. Prather

Michael Roger Prather, 68, of Rossville, GA, passed away February 10, 2022, in Chattanooga, TN. Born January 23, 1954, to the late Clifford and Kathryn Prather in Chattanooga, TN. He loved is family, model trains, cars, fish aquariums and aquatics, guns, and big tv’s.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Prather.

Survived by his loving wife, Paulette Prather; daughters, Nicole (Tim) Thomas, Rachel (John) Brock, and Kristin (Shane) Curtis; brother, Rick Prather; grandchildren, Sarah, Rhiannon, Whitney, Raven, Shayleah, Shariah, Tre, Trinity, Gaige, Kayla, Savannah, Andrew, Jacob, Sophia, and Jackson; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Mack, Tayvon, Dante, JaMichael, Leo, Saiya, Elijah, and Robbie; nieces, Jennifer and Shelby; nephew, Travis; and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN, with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. A viewing will be done at 10:30.
