Matthew James Rigg

Matthew Rigg, age 50 of Cleveland TN, departed this life on October 30, 2021. A native of Michigan and a 1990 graduate of Merrill High School. Matthew moved to Cleveland in 2018. He made many friends. He was active, adventurous and creative. He loved being outdoors hiking and working out. He will be forever remembered for his smile and hugs.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Theresa (Mertes) Rigg,
parents, Bruce and Maxine (Wenzel) Rigg. brother, Nathan (Laurie) Rigg.
daughters, Halle and Lainey Rigg. stepdaughters, Kelly and Renee Reed.
stepson Chris Reed; as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Annabelle Rigg,
Marian Wenzel, and Mark Wenzel.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
