Mary Lee Taylor, 68, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born on July 20, 1953, to William Dation and Virginia Lee Fields. Mary loved to fish and to ride in mountains. She enjoyed going to church when she could, and she loved talking about Jesus and being with family. She was a lioness when it came to protecting her family and friends. Mary was a very hard worker who loved to help people. She always said, “If I have something, then you have it, too.” She was humble, kind, generous, and loving.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Taylor; children, Rebecca “Becky” Taylor and Charlene Taylor; grandchildren, Antoinette Schabell; and parents, William and Virginia Fields.

She leaves to treasure her memory daughters, Tina Schabell and Darlene Smith (Tim) of Cleveland; grandchildren: Courtney May (Brannon) of Calhoun and Anthony Schabell of Meigs County; great grandchildren: Landon Smith and Everly May; siblings: Brenda Cain, Dennis Fields, and Terry Fields (Debbie); nieces and nephews: Marlene Britt; Fred Eaton, Otis Eaton (Frieda), Patty Moschak, Dave Goode, Daniel Goode (Janet), and Kim Goins; friend, Mable Hayes, and pets: Pete and CrayCray.

Per Mary’s wishes, there will be no service or memorial. If anyone wishes to send anything to the family, please use 2205 Rollingbrook Dr NE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
