Mary Lawanna Hicks

Mary Lawanna Hicks, 54, passed away December 19, 2019. She was born in Okeechobee, Florida on January 30, 1965 to the late James William and Mary Nell Ward. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She enjoyed yardsaling and listening to country music. She especially loved her two dogs, Tinker Bell and Chopper.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 32 years, Carl Hicks; and siblings, Debbie (Jimmy) Nicholson, Randy Parton, Jody Ann Waddell, Sherry Parton and Shona (Nathan) Price.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held immediately following visitation with Pastor Adam Jones Officiating.
