Mary "Joe" (Nenaw) Stokley Simmons Harrison

Mary “Joe” (Nenaw) Stokley Simmons Harrison passed away suddenly on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born August 14, 1937 in Waller, TX to Arnett and Ruth (Breneman) Stokley. She was a 1955 graduate of Waller High School, Waller, TX.
Joe enjoyed her work of many years at Dave’s BBQ in West Point, MS. before retiring and moving to Athens, TN. She loved gardening, traveling, trying new foods and made the best chicken and dumplings.
She is survived by Judy (Joseph) George, Austin, TX, Eddie (Sharon) Simmons, Hamilton, MS, Sissy Smitherman, Starkville, MS, Jan (Ricky) Lucas, Athens, TN and one brother, Walter Stokley, Jewett, TX. Nenaw was blessed with 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
