Mary Frances Mcalister

November 26, 1944 — January 20, 2021

Mary McAlister, 76, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2021. She served the Black Fox Community for many years as a custodian with Black Fox School.

Mary will be remembered as a person who always brought a smile to your face, a laughter to the air, and a stern sense of reality to the situation at hand. Her memory will be forever etched in our hearts and will always bring a smile to our face.

We find comfort in knowing Mary has joined the ranks of heaven and is rejoicing amongst the angels that carried her home.

But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself. – Psalm 49:15

She is survived by her sons, Curtis “Butch” McAlister and Bruce Henry; sister, Evelyn Long; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Her mother, Addie Mae Taylor; father, Bruce Taylor; sister, Emma Eaton; brothers, James Taylor, Charles Taylor, Garland Taylor, and Paul Dean Taylor all preceded her in death.
