Mary Elizabeth Cass

February 11, 1947 — May 21, 2019

Mary E. Cass, 72, of Cleveland passed away May 21, 2019 at Memorial Hospital. She was raised in Calhoun, TN in the Lamontville Community and attended the Calhoun School. She was active with the Senior Center and loved doing crafts and flower gardening. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” and Hazel Green; a brother, James “Jimmy” Green; and the father of her children, Kenneth Cass.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Jennifer Cass, Michael Cass, and Lisa Cass Rodgers; grandchildren, Dakota Cass, Haylee Rodgers, and Lexus Cass; two sisters, Frankie Sue Hayes and Betty Hiefnar-Messer; several nieces and nephews; and a very special and loved best friend, Betty Flowers.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 6pm at Bethel Baptist Tabernacle, 3165 Buchanan Road, Cleveland. The family will have a private burial in Lower Spring Creek Cemetery prior to the service.
