Martha Dilbeck

Martha Dilbeck, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, coming from McMinn County, passed away December 3, 2021, at a local healthcare facility. She was born March 28, 1921, to the late Belle Taylor Leamon and of the Baptist faith. She loved reading the Cleveland Daily Banner and watching Nascar racing and Atlanta Braves.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her, husband, George W. Dilbeck; sister, Viola Painter (Babe); brothers, Walter Leamon, Robert Leamon, Henry Leamon, and James Leamon; stepfather, Charlie Leamon.

Survived by her son Wesley Dilbeck (Tena); grandson, Buddy Dilbeck, of Birmingham, AL; special friends, Debbie Sneed, Ashley Corless, Macie Brumfiel, Bella Brumfiel, Griffin Brown, Tom & Tina Dodson, Heather & Joe Kidd, Madilyn Kidd, Aiden Kidd, Randy Bishop, and Kathy True.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday, December 27, 2021, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service in the chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Gary Sears and Bill Weathington, officiating. Burial will be held at Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Research.
