Martha Ann Cox

Martha Ann Cox, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 20, 2019, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. She was born on April 14, 1940, to the late Charles and Maureen Troxell. She was a lifelong resident of this area and of Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Wendell; daughter, Tina; sister, Mary Troxell; brothers, Ralph, Charles “Gene”, Steve, James, and Clarence Troxell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers, John, Terry, Claude, Harold and Kenny Troxell; two grandchildren, Josh Cox and Jennifer Brown (Jason); two great grandchildren, Emileigh Brown and Davey Cox; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2019, for a memorial gathering in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road Cleveland, TN, 37311.
