Marsha Anne Cates

November 2, 1955 — January 29, 2023

Marsha Anne Cates, 67, of Cleveland , Tennessee passed away January 29, 2023 at her Residence in Cleveland, Tennessee . She was born on November 2, 1955 in Dayton, Tennessee to Oren Arthur Morgan Sr. and Dorothea Tekoa (Gothard) Morgan. She was born in a small town on the river, the area known as "The Fisher Place". Marsha enjoyed a good book and mainly romantic novels, she was a sucker for a good love story. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as often as she could. Her Family was everything to her. She was also a big game and social person. She loved a good night at the house playing spades or poker with friends, especially in her younger days. She never met a stranger, it didn't matter where she might be. This could be at the grocery store, the local Wal Mart, it didn't matter, she always knew someone. If she didn't, it would not take her long to make a new friend. She would give anyone the shirt of of her back if she knew that they needed it. She loved kids and it did not matter whose kids that they were. When she was around them, she was spoiling them one way or the other. She was also one of the most stubborn and bullheaded person you would ever meet, but she also had the biggest heart. She was one of the most caring people that you would ever meet. She will be missed by so many. The impact she let, will never be forgotten.
