Mark Edward Mullins

Mark Edward Mullins, 61, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 15, 2016. He was born in Knoxville on September 27, 1955 to William Edward Mullins and Rhoda Marie Mullins. Mark, affectionately known as “Par” to his grandchildren, was a true family man with a heart of gold. He made everyone around him feel special and never knew a stranger. He has lived in the Cleveland area since 1979 and was an electrical engineer by trade. Mark retired from Bowater with 25 years of service and worked with Mesa Associates out of Chattanooga for the past seven years. He was very active in his church, Westwood Baptist, where he served as a deacon. Mark enjoyed playing golf, Tennessee Football and Lady Vols Basketball. He loved to cheer on his alma mater. Mark was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Mullins. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Linda Mullins; mother Rhoda Marie Mullins; two daughters; Amy Eubanks (Shane) and Leslie Cross (Josh); grandchildren: Caroline Eubanks (6), William Eubanks (1), Chandler Cross (7), Aniston Cross (6), and Hannah Cross (2).
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday November 19, 2016 at Westwood Baptist Church located at 4001 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37312. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday November 18, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday before the service from 10:00am until 11:00am. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
