Marilynn Ann Morton, 85, peacefully passed away November 6th, 2021, at her home in McDonald, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Viva Bennett of Santa Rosa, Ca., Her sister, Marjorie D. Whitener of McDonald, Tn., Spouses Wyman L. Tucker of Chapparel, NM and Donald E. Morton of Modesto, Ca. and life companion Charles A. Peterson of McDonald, Tn.

Marilynn was an independent hard-working professional who held a career as an automotive bookkeeper, retiring from the Don Ledford car dealership in Cleveland, Tennessee. She began her life in California and became a world traveler as a dedicated military spouse.

Marilynn cherished family more than life itself and was the glue that held the family together. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, always thinking of others first. Marilynn was a dedicated animal lover who was always willing to help any animal in need, even the neighborhood raccoons and opossums. She is survived by 2 daughters Sharon J Koslan of Pineville, La. and Debra L. (Arthur) Moore of Cleveland Tn. 1 Niece Dixie L Daniels of Fresno, Ca.
6 grandchildren, John S Phillips of Cleveland, Tn., Clarence A and (Dana) Phillips Jr., of Rome, Ga., Melissa and (Kerri) Phillips of Woodstock, Ga., Jason A Koslan of Pineville, La., Jennifer and (TJ ) Paul of Pineville, La., and Jessica and (Philip) Haston of Pineville, La., 12 great grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Marilynn touched are invited to her home on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 from 12pm-4pm, to celebrate her gracious life
