Obituary
Marilyn Denise Smith, 64, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 26, 2014. She was born in Cleveland, TN on August 3, 1950 to Lee and Evelyn Smith. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of this area and brought much joy to those in her life. She was an Elvis Presley fanatic, loved being outdoors, crocheting, and watching TV. Marilyn was always laughing and cutting up with a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father Lee James Smith, brother Michael Smith, and nephew Shane Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Evelyn Smith, brother Ronnie Smith (Wilma), one niece Whitney Mieseler (Frank), and two nephews: Jason Smith (Brandi) and Chris Smith (Angela). In addition to these, she leaves behind several other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday November 30, 2014 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00pm. Interment will follow the service in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery.
