Marie Louise Noble

September 4, 1939 — February 7, 2020

Marie Louise Noble, 80, a resident of Charleston, TN, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. She is preceded by her parents: Paul and Pauline Burdick, of Alberta, Canada. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church, Cleveland, TN. She moved to Charleston, TN upon her retirement from Lane Construction in Meriden, CT, where she was employed as the payroll manager. Her passions included tending to a large group of Hummingbirds; extensive world travel (Bermuda being a favorite). Gardening; earning a Master Gardener Certification after she moved to Tennessee. She was an accomplished seamstress, creating fashionable clothing and quilts. She was accomplished in many hobbies, including photography, boating, and was an amazing scratch baker. She had a deep compassion for others, and was involved in many charitable activities, always having a bright smile for all who she met. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Alfred Burdick and her sister Linda Alker. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her Husband Richard M. Noble; sons Richard W. Noble, wife Nicoleta; and James S. Noble. She is survived by Sisters, Della Wilde, Margaret Stone, Thelma Warner, Edith Reber, Karen Lanciault, Victoria Prusak, and Brother, Brian Burdick. Her Grandchildren; Claire Marie Corbett, Katlyn Marie Noble, Richard Charles Noble, James Joseph Noble and Jacob Stephen Noble, and many, many nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with the celebration of life service to follow at the First Lutheran Church in Cleveland, TN (195 McIntire Ave. NE Cleveland, TN 37312). The private interment will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. Pallbearers are Adam Behnen, Gary Ball, Larry Bell, and Douglas LeComte. She requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made, to the First Lutheran Church, 195 McIntire Ave NE, Cleveland, TN 37312, or the American Cancer Society. You are invited to share a personal memory of Marie or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com.
