Margie Bullington

Obituary

Margie Bullington, 79, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Margie was born in Glasgow, KY on October 14th, 1935 a daughter of the late Paul and Ruby Burks. She loved reading, crocheting, gardening and cooking, but her most enduring quality was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of forty five years Ralph E. Bullington Sr., two sisters Vernell Bennett and Claudia Bullington, one brother John Burks and one son-in-law John Melton.

Margie leaves behind to cherish her memory five children Ralph E. Bullington Jr., Brian Bullington (Beth), Mary Melton of Nashville, TN , Laurie Williams and Peggy Howell (Phillip), ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday night, November 14th, 2014 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday, November 15th, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to either The American Diabetes Association or The American Stroke Foundation in Margie’s memory.
