Margaret Caylor Lee

Margaret Caylor Lee went to her heavenly home at the age of 89 on Sunday, February 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, TN, to the late James P. Caylor, Sr. and Catherine Blackburn Caylor. She was married for 56 years to the love of her life, the late Flavius J. Lee, Jr., on June 28, 1958.

Margaret spent most of her life as a resident of Cleveland after graduating from Sweetwater High School in 1947. Mrs. Lee worked in the Cleveland City School system from 1969 until her retirement in 1992, where she was the first secretary at E. L. Ross Elementary School. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God with her husband and a member of the Unity Sunday School Class.

In addition to her mother, father and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers: James P. Caylor, Jr., Robert F. Caylor, Raymond B. Caylor and her sisters: Virginia Russell and Frances Wrinkle.

She is survived by her only son, F. Joe Lee, III, his wife, Kathy, granddaughters Hannah Disney (Cody), Madeline Williams (Josh), Olivia Lee and great granddaughters, Annie Elizabeth Disney and Ellee Katherine Williams, as well as two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm in the main sanctuary of North Cleveland Church of God on Thursday, February 14. Immediately following will be her celebration of life service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mark L. Williams officiating. Interment will be on the following day, Friday at 10:30 am at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Cody Disney, Josh Williams, Robert Wrinkle, Jr., Robert Wrinkle, III, Chip Caylor and Jim Peters.
