Margaret Ann Overly

Margaret Ann Overly, 76, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on April 14, 2023, at Tennova Cleveland, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. She was born on October 23, 1946, in Malden, Massachusetts, to the late Paul and Mary (Driscoll) Downing. Margaret lived in Cleveland for 30 years, having moved there from Florida with her husband Kenneth Overly.

Margaret was a devout member of the Roman Catholic faith, and her love for God shone through in all aspects of her life. She enjoyed spending time studying the Bible with her husband and their two dogs, Murphy and Peanut. Margaret was a woman of great kindness, and her unwavering faith and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Kenneth, their children, Robert Frederiksen and Stephanie Morrison, her brothers Paul and Thomas Downing, and her grandchildren William Morrison, Connor Frederiksen, and Emma Frederiksen. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Lathan, her brother Joey Downing, and her grandson Matthew Morrison.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her dear friends, Rita and Russ Tackett, and her beloved dogs, who were her constant companions.
