Obituary

Marcelene Rodgers, 64, a resident of Charleston, TN went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday morning, December 22nd, 2014 surrounded by her family. Marcelene was born May 4th, 1950 in York, PA. She was a member of Lakeview Church of God. Marcelene was an honorable discharged veteran of the United States Army after faithfully serving her country. She was a very giving person who enjoyed cooking, shopping and loved taking care of her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of forty three years Ronald Rodgers, three sons Brian Rodgers (Melody), Kurt Rodgers (Lisa) and Keith Rodgers, mother and father Floyd & Delores Heikes of York, PA, one granddaughter Haylee Elizabeth Rodgers, five siblings Roger Heikes (Linda), Jeanette Ambrosius, Debra Heikes, Jeffrey Heikes and Sandy Heikes, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Church of God 105 Lakeview Drive SE, Cleveland, TN with Pastor Dustin Wilds officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.

Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens and will conclude with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Lakeview Church of God in Marcelene’s memory.
