Lynda Storm Nicotra

November 28, 1941 — December 6, 2019

Lynda Storm went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 6, 2019 at the age of 78 after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease.
Born to Charles and Faye Storm in Washington DC. Beloved wife of Salvatore Nicotra, sister to Larry (Carol) Storm, Lloyd (Elaine) Storm, and sister Loretta (Ray) Kistenmarcher, sister-in-law of Alfio (Anita) Nicotra and Angelo (Jerry) Mauro.
Mother and Mom to Jerriann (Steve) Trageser, Dean (Lisa) Collier, Venerando (Jeanie) Nicotra, and Barbara (Larry) Hirsch. Grandmother to Ethan and Amy Trageser, Ezekiel and Gracen Colier, Nicholas (Giana) and Thomas Nicotra. Great-grandmother of Mason Nicotra.
After graduation from Montgomery Blair High School she married Dennis Collier and worked as a secretary for Erie Insurance before having children. Lynda moved to Laurel, Maryland in the early 70's where she began her career as an Interior Decorator. She then started her own business named Storm Interiors, where she met the love of her life Sal Nicotra.
Once they both became believers they moved to Cleveland, Tennessee where they attended New Life Bible College. Lynda and Sal both had a passion for mentoring couples and praying for those in need. They were long time members of Living Word Church where they served as elders. Their home was often the place of refuge for those in need, it was a sanctuary of prayer and worship, and they hosted fellowships that hold many fond memories for those they loved dearly.
Together they owned and operated Rental Properties in Cleveland, Tennessee for many years including Dormitories for Lee University students.
Her love for Jesus, her husband, family, friends and good food were unparalleled and her devout faith was a blessing to us all. She will be sorely missed.
