Lulu "Poodle" Evans Ellis

Lulu “Poodle” Evans Ellis, 81, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away on Thursday, March, 28, 2019 at a local healthcare facility. “Poodle” loved to crochet and knit but most of all she had a great love for her pets. Lulu had devoted her life to caring for children whether it was through her work or just in her everyday life. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Ellis; parents, Dallas Lane Evans and Sallie Ann Rogers Evans; siblings, Welsey F “Bud” Evans, Jim Evans, Peg Evans, Joe Evans, Betty Evans, Ina Wilson, and Dee Evans.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 1, 2019 from 2:30-4:30pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. Interment will be at Gamble Limestone Cemetery in Meigs Co, TN following the visitation. Pastor David Evans will be officiating the service.
