Louise Clark

Louise Clark of Cleveland went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2018 in a Cleveland healthcare facility.

She loved her family with all of her heart and enjoyed cooking for them. She prayed for her family every day and taught them that faith in God is the most important thing in life. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church for 53 years and enjoyed baking for the church Outreach ministries and fundraisers. Her cakes would bring the top bid. One of her biggest pleasures was spending time in Gatlinburg. She owned and operated the Haven of Beauty in downtown Cleveland for 43 years, and her customers were like family. She helped anyone who came into her shop with their needs in any way she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ethel Rapier, husband Fred Clark, granddaughters Maria Williams and Kristie Sylar, great-granddaughter Olivia Grace Hamilton, son-in-law Don Hamilton, sisters Wilma Wilson, Doris Higdon, Jenny Land, Rebecca Clabo, and brothers Elmer Rapier and James (Sonny) Rapier.

She is survived by her son Hoyt Clark Sr. and wife Cassey, daughter Dianne Hamilton, grandchildren Tyra Fowler, Fonda Jack, Shannon Taylor, Hoyt Clark Jr., Greg Hamilton, and Stuart Clark, 15 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, brother Steve Rapier, and sisters Kate Osment, Fran Dillard, and Jessie Barker.

Pallbearers will be Hoyt Clark Jr, Greg Hamilton, Stuart Clark, Ryan Stuart Clark, Matt Clark, and Cooper Sylar.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm at Faith Memorial Church, 910 17th Street, Cleveland, Tn. On Friday, December 14, 2018. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at the church. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
