Loretta "Bea" Bernice Rogers

Loretta “Bea” Bernice Rogers, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 6, 2021. She was born on March 20, 1938 to the late Jesse Chastain and Lennie Hamby Chastain. Bea loved gardening, flowers, and traveling. Above all things, she loved her family and spending time with them in Reliance-in the mountains where she grew up. Bea also loved reading her bible, canning, baking, and walking. She was a member of Cleveland Community Chapel where she had several years of perfect attendance.
In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by her husband Earl Griffin; siblings: Eunice Kerr, Grady Chastain, Vance Chastain, Jessie Lou James; great granddaughter Hope McCoy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Eddie Rogers; children: Ricky Hamby (Alice), Rhonda McCoy (Ricky), Christie Norris (Jonathan), Pam Williams, Denise Callais, and Krystal Miller (Randy); siblings: Marvin Chastain (Genevive), Walter Chastain (Linda), Ron Chastain (Linda), Curtis Chastain, and Faye Beard; grandchildren: Cyndi Carroll, Chad Hamby, Chris McCoy, Scott McCoy, Colton Boggess, Cheyenne Norris, Jeremy Morrow, Josh Morrow, Jacob Williams, Jessica Williams, Rachel Bennett, and Eva Callais. In addition to these, she leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Bea’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. Rev. Tazz Reid and Rev. Adam Sutton will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Brock Cemetery following the service.
