Lois Ann Rector

Lois Ann Rector, 93, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 25, 2020. Lois relocated to Cleveland in 2016 from Edgewater, FL where she and her husband enjoyed many years of retirement. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a cherished friend to many. She was a very dedicated teacher for many years. She was a very active member of Edgewater United Methodist Church for many years.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Elmer L. Rector.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her four children LeAnna Graham (Tom) of Katy, TX, JoLynn Perry (Albert) of Cleveland, TN, Ginia Shawl (Don) of Bristol, TN, and Lee Rector (Cynthia) of Woodbine, MD; seven grandchildren Randi Graham (Steve), Kelly Alston (Ray), Lisa Jardina (Paul), Jeff Shawl (Missy), Melissa Bentancur (Will), Sam Rector (Melanie), and Jon Rector (Amanda); ten great-grandchildren; as well as many other nieces and nephews. The family would also like to give a special thank you to her caregivers; Cora Shope, Cindy Kile, Anita Good, Amanda Rogers and Susan Bryson for the love and care they provided.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00PM with Jane Currin and Jon Rector officiating.
